What to Do Each Day
Start with the "Must Do" Column. This will usually involve completing assignments on the website connected to our reading book, called "Wonders," plus occasional other assignments.
Once students have completed all of their Must Do's, you can use the activities in the "Can Do" column if you would like some extra resources that your child can use. These are mostly online games that practice the concepts that we are working on in a fun way.

Must DoThis button takes the students to a page where they can log into their Granite Portal. The username is their 9-number (they should have that memorized or it is located on the front of the home packet). The password is 123456. Once they have logged in, they should see a button that says Wonders. If you do not see the Wonders button click on the magnifying glass, search for wonders, click on it, and it should show up after that.
In Wonders, click on the "To Do" button. There will be a list of the assignments students need to complete this week. When students finish an assignment and submit it, a green check mark will show that it is finished. It is still required that you read 20 minutes per day. I would absolutely love if you read 7 days a week, but I will settle for 5 days a week. In your packet I have included your reading group book. By March 27th you need to have finished your reading book. Despite finishing your reading book you should have other reading material at your access for reading minutes.
